As a non-profit-making organisation, TVE Asia Pacific relies on funding support from development donors and corporate sponsors to produce and distribute relevant TV and video content.

Such support becomes important especially as we provide our video films free of license fee to all our end users.

Digits4Change has so far received support from two international sources:

International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada:

International Development Research Centre (IDRC)

Several Digits4Change stories came from IDRC’s Pan Asia Networking (PAN) programme, which has played a pioneering role in introducing, popularising and promoting the tools of ICT in the Asia Pacific. While we worked with various PAN partners in researching and filming their experiences, the stories in this series are made on an editorially independent basis.

Oxfam Novib:

Oxfam Novib

For several years, Novib – Oxfam Netherlands has supported TVE Asia Pacific with core funding. In 2005, we used part of this funding support for commissioning Asia Pacific professionals to produce stories in the Digits4Changeseries.

We plan to make more Digits4Change films every year, and welcome partnership with development donors, corporate sponsors and foundations.
